I'm doing my first installation of Veyon in Ubuntu 22.04, followed these steps: 1.- Install Veyon in PC server, authentication with user / password so this will act as Master. Also installed NEtwork discovery addon to check for clients 2.- Install Veyon in PC client and start service with the GUI. The network discovery plugin is not able to find any PC, but I don't understand the solution you aplied to solve it. Could you help me? Thanks a lot!

Hi maksiks, try adding the 'veyon-server' shortcut to startup folder, not the 'veyon-service'

The plugin was missing in the 4.8.3 release due to a DLL dependency issue. Upgrade to 4.9.0 to fix that issue.

Update: My mistake. I was trying to configure this on the main console / instructor computer. Didn't realize I have to change the destination file transfer path in the configuration on each separate client. That being said it still gives an error that the public desktop folder is not writeable. But I can work around that. Just wanted to provide an update in case anyone else has the same brain fart that I did.
